Ok, since I don't know anything about cord cutting, tell me why Netflix should pay 500mil a season when they can just add ESPN and let ESPN foot the bill?

See i thought your were being funny, and i laughed but wait then i see your really being dead serious, Like really serious about that....Man oh man you really do not get it...Espn is Losing Money by Losing Subscribers, which is Money being LOST, and Disney and Share Holders aren't gonna let it continue for starters, starting so all them cuts...Second Why on Earth would Netflix, Amazon for example put ESPN on and let them foot the Bill when THEY want Live Sports Rights from ESPN..Amazon wants Live Sports for Amazon Prime and wants to create a Live Streaming channel with Live Sports for say Amazon Prime, because Live Sports on those platforms will Finally Bust the Cable bubble, and make Amazon, Netflix, Youtube, Twitter, Facebook Ect a Fortune...They are Taking the Cord Cutters from Espn and Don't Need Espn for Anything...Just like Amazon Now has NFL Thursday Night Football, and talks are if the Bubble pops NFL is already looking at More Streaming Services and staying ahead of the game...AAC will be first College Conference to have a Component like that as well and will become a Pioneer in doing so...Nothing stays the same forever boys, and Cable is a dying breed, and like it or not Aresco is a very very smart man who knows TV and Media Rights and Rights Distribution of Product...He's been to Silicon Valley more than a few times and They Are Very Interested in the AAC for the Quality of Product, Interest in product, and Conference with Real Value to be had, while all the P5 are dead locked into long term deals with Espn and Fox...Change is coming...AAC will be first Conference to have a Streaming service Component and become a Pioneer, and could take future deals to the next level....#The World Is Ours Memphis...

No, you really don't get it. You talk out of the side of your neck and everyone but a few 3 or 4 know it. By the way, you also said:

I see you didn't answer my question. Live tv streaming services are signing ESPN as on of the channels they offer, so apparently they see the value in adding ESPN. Sling TV, Hulu, Playstation Vue, Directtv now, have all signed ESPN so once again the landscape in streaming tv is changing because they realize people want the tv channels they get from cable so to compete with cable they have to have the same channels.
