Probably, but it's still worth pursuing him if Penny is gone after next season and he's still at McNeese.

Yep

Nope - it's silly

Average KenPom rating:
4 years prior to Pastner #5 -> Pastner #55.
4 years prior to Penny #106 -> Penny #44.

Record vs ranked opponents:
Pastner 5-26
Penny 12-18

Josh was obviously trending the wrong way when he was fired. Penny was trending upwards until this year. 1 bad year is not a trend.
