Assault with deadly basketball
Morant testified that he did punch the teenager first, then his associated punched the kid afterwards.

Claims it was self defense because the kid one handed checked the ball and ball hit him in the face.

Then stated that he felt threatened because the kid pulled his own shorts up.

If any other regular Joe punched out an underage kid during a disagreement he wouldn't be sitting in civil court, he would be in criminal court.

This is exactly what is wrong with the younger generation. A kid gets invited to play basketball at an NBA basketball players parents' house, he acts like an ass directly to the NBA player, he gets put in his place for being an ass, and then he sues for millions of dollars. For some reason this kid totally dismisses his own actions, yet feels entitled to millions of dollars for Ja's actions.
In my view, the kid's stupidity=Ja's stupid reaction. Both should learn from their own stupidity in this. Money should play no part.

the mom is a piece of work.

Imagine how she sends her kid out every morning into the world with a clear message to provoke those who have money and try to get himself hurt... ("You gotta get yur ass in there and make him hit ya, shugah...do it for the family, shugah...")

it's insane

RE: Assault with deadly basketball
You have teenagers out committing all types of crime. A teen getting popped in the mouth by an adult should happen more often.
