Hey I'm glad we won. The team looked like they had fun tonight.
However, coming on here acting like all is right in TigerLand now is ludicrous.
All is right TONIGHT! Can't we just be happy about THAT??!?
I'm sick of this tireless bashing. Love or hate, whatever you choose, but stop trying to force venom, vitriol, and pure pessimism on the rest of us. We don't appreciate it. (not directed just at you, wood, but at all the bashers - enough is enough)
Understood. Great win.
Time to finish up my drink and hit the sack.
I will continue my bashing tomorrow. J/k. Not really.
sorry man, I don't usually go off, but this is getting ridiculous. My apologies.
All good brother. I don't take anything to personally.
We all love the Tigers, that's why we are here.
I'm glad we won tonight.

Two questions for you since you apparently are the spokesman for the bashers.
1) Why jump in so quickly to defend the bashing of Pastner? Were my points legitimate?
2) Who buys your season tickets, Eric? This was brought up last year, and I want to exercise my freedom of speech.
Hey, if you don't like it, just ignore it.
well, this will be fun. for your first question, this is simply a message board and everyone including you and I should have the right to voice their opinions. Now I don't care one way or another if you like Josh or not. If you say he is the greatest coach the school has ever had, it's not going to make me mad. This is where you and I differ.
For the second question, my wife and I buy and pay for our season tickets. I have to wonder why would this be brought up? Especially since you and whoever do not know me or where we live or what type of money we have or how we spend our money. As a matter of fact, I only have met a few folks off of this message board and even they don't know my business in regards to money. Yet, I think a few of them would say, I think I know Eric well enough to know that if he says he and his wife pay for their tickets, then I believe him. Now, you have to admit, I do not know you or anything about your life, so I am not going to get on here and act like I do, when there is no way in the world I could prove it, right? I think if you tell me you do something, then I have to give you the benefit of the doubt, correct Bossman??
Good post. Boss man that was a cheap shot. Who gives a crap how anyone gets their tickets. Free tickets are the best anyways.
Man do I wish our two tickets were free, oh how I wish that. My wife especially would love it if someone would pay for our tickets.
I know that's right. Just so you know, I wasn't implying you didn't pay for your tix. Just stating it doesn't matter how anyone gets into the game, as long as they go and have fun.
I know, I think it was first brought up by lord2flymoron. Hey, if it would make bossman and who ever else happy, maybe meet me at a game sometime and have a chat with my wife. She doesn't like how much they cost, with the surcharge and all. Hey, while we are at it, maybe my wife and I could find someone who would like to pay this house note over here, we will gladly take that as well.

I'm sure she doesn't like how much the tickets cost, LOL.
Regarding the house note, there was a poster (no longer here) that had his father-in-law pay his mortgage.

C'est la vie.
MEMPHIS won, on to Oklahoma State.
Must be nice. If I had someone paying my mortgage I could afford those premium seats at the forum

I think we are better than Oklahoma St. Don't know that for sure, but, I like our chances. We shall see. Speaking of that game, I am selling my two and will be sitting in another area. Got a great deal for them too.......I will put it on Tiger bay, but, the face value for the ticket is $65, I will sell both of my seats for the price of one, the ole buy one get one free. I also have a parking pass that is worth $15, so I will sell both tickets and the parking pass for $80. Good deal if I don't say so myself.
RE: For Goodness Sakes let's tackle McDowell before taking a Shot
I don't want to be or have anything to do with the bashers, because:
1. I love my tigers and will root for the team no matter what, whether i like the coach or not. I'm not going to spread false rumors or take shots at them for the sake of disliking the coach
2. They are obnoxious. Trying to talk up the football team on a thread and it gets highjacked by a basher looking to take shots at the basketball coach is a huge turnoff. They go on and on repeating the same things over and over again, making the same lame jokes that are quite boring.

I think I'm finally beginning to enjoy where some folks are coming from. Winning is a
two-fold joy:
There's the pure glory of winning, and there's the added joy of watching those who live to see Pastner fail twist and turn in their sadness.
Fun times on the forum..
Some of us just want what's best for the program. I think everyone here loves for the Tigers to win. This is the kind of performance we expect and not a performance similar to games like we have seen, like with SFA. It was nice to see the players look like they are having a good time and smile (instead of just Pastner smiling after a loss).
Most of us are above enjoyment in the suffering of others. Joy in others' suffering is a despicable, ugly thing.

Not everyone here loves for the Tigers to win. But I no longer need everyone to enjoy a Tiger Victory in order to enjoy one myself and enjoy it with those who do.
RE: For Goodness Sakes let's tackle McDowell before taking a Shot
Every Memphis fan enjoys it when the Tigers win. Its stupid to think otherwise.
Doesn't mean Pastner is john wooden all of a sudden. It's the same formula over the past 5 years. Win the games you're supposed to. Lose the big ones.
This team isn't anywhere near as talented as last season. If we best a ranked opponent with this team, it will be the biggest win of pastners career and I'll happily give him credit for it.
