Every time Tubby goes on radio or does a CA interview, he gets roasted for saying a dumb thing. Is anyone going to buy season tickets because of a Tubby radio segment? I don't think so.

Re recruiting, how many inner-city kids do you think listen to sports talk radio? The answer is almost none. The demo for sports radio are old, white males like me. And I don't even listen.

Winning solves all problems. It's the only answer for Tubby. Everything else is just noise.

Why should Coach Tubby and the staff even give those two the time of day after the way they clowned, goofed and piled on for the last 3 weeks? Jason himself said he knows what it's like to be banned from the Finch by Pastner so he already knew what the ramifications would be. I've quit listening to them.

I agree. Tubby started out a certain way and that's how he has to continue. Having said that, if/when he does decide to make a public statement, it probably should be one where he tells the truth and says that it is 100X easier to recruit at Memphis than it is at Texas Tech and Minnesota.
