Maybe not but it seems like cliques have been formed and that matters a lot on whether you get disciplined. Never seen any business owner treat his customers like Ga Tech Swag does

As to your last two posts:

Your all caps statement shows how little you understand about the financing of major college sports. The people (boosters and AD) are the EXACT ones that own the timeline of said coach's time at the school. How come we had to hang with Pastner after it became painfully obvious he was not able to coach effectively? Because the moneyman who was paying the bulk of his salary didn't want to give in to being wrong, so he rode it out until the AD and boosters could come up with a plan to help with the situation. Fans money like yours and mine have never had a say in the coming or going of a coach - our money goes to more mundane tasks. WE DON'T HAVE THAT CONTROL AND DON'T DESERVE IT DUE TO THE MANIACAL RAMBLINGS LIKE THOSE ON HERE.

As to the fall off in posts, it's mainly due to no one having anything else to say or care on the subject until there is something else happening to drive the interest. When something worthwhile happens or there is more news (not rumored opinion) to go on it will pick back up. Or better yet, when the football team starts making noise with pre-season workouts then it will be back. I so damn tired of seeing whiney hand-wringing basketball posts that don't amount to anything for a few months driving the board that it's no wonder anyone with half a brain is taking it off for a while. I'm only cruising through to see if it has relented any, and I guess the answer is no.

The recent Mod intervention and amnesty has helped in my opinion with something at least slightly entertaining showing up on the board.

You are just plain ignorant. I'm a CPA with 40 years of business experience Those funds that we didn't have from BB Revenue were committed to paying for damn near every athletic scholarship on campus plus further subsidizing FB-rightly so on FB IMO. Good investment.

If BB were stand alone Revenue department it would have a huge surplus even with falling attendance.

So delusional is not appropriate here.

Just to go on the record, I actually do want him to be successful. But I didn't care for the comments about us expecting too much of the program one bit.

As for the mods, you are completely wrong.We have had many old posters come back and folks are posting more. Normally off-seasons are slower but this one has been more active than usual.

What really surprises me is the number of fans who didn’t realize one of Tubby’s longtime cons is his inability to land top recruits. Evidently the powers-that-be didn’t know this either.

Anyway I also did not like what he said about the program but it is what it is. Tubby isn’t leaving anytime soon so get used to it.

We all want success for Tubby because it means success for our team and school.

I believe, however, Tubby's decisions are fanning the fire destroying our program. Hopefully, our generous boosters (at the appropriate time) will dig deeper into their pockets and help limit the damage.

I think everyone was aware of that, but thought that with a little effort, it would be easier to recruit at a much higher level here than at Texas Tech and Minnesota.

Its going to be a long summer for a bunch of you guys.
