When are you talking about? With 30 seconds left, when Self called it to stop the clock? That is not even the same as what Pastner has been mocked for doing. Pastner does it with 6 minutes left. It's not a move to preserve final seconds. It's a move to...well, we're not sure.

Different situation. I believe Kansas was 3 down with 40 seconds left. Self wanted everyone on same page about who to foul if KU made 2 point basket. He also set up a play. Pastner's called TO with much more time on the clock.

You are literally bragging about Pastner using the same strategy that resulted in a loss for Pastner and a loss for the other coach. And based on the fact that both coaches used the strategy and lost you are somehow making the jump that this proves Pastner is a good coach?

I would really prefer that Pastner start mimicking the coaching strategies that lead Self to a National title and multiple late runs in March. But instead he follows the losing ones. Cool story bro...
