As silly as it seems, this theory has gone through my head. I've thought for awhile that things seemed "staged" because all of it made so little sense and that maybe it had something to do with trying to emphasize football. Utterly preposterous anyway you look at it.

^ an element that I haven't heard and a very weird scenario took place during the Tulane game......I think it was v Tulane? During halftime, the commentators were playing JP's voicemail message on the air.....It was really weird and really sad at the same time....kinda like "please call Josh Pastner for work,because these bad Memphis people want him outta here....But listen to his sweet message, he's such a nice guy, so please give him a job". GTFOH

No one likes being 8-6 right now. No one enjoys what Pastner, his staff, and the TIGER team are going through. Pastner very well could be terminated at the end of the season. Or he might salvage the season and return. Or he might take another job.

But for anyone to suggest Pastner is tanking games; deliberately losing games to force a settlement buyout is pure vindictiveness and senseless mudslinging. It's simply another drive by poster throwing another log on the fire of hate toward Pastner. This season is hard enough on everyone without manufacturing malicious BS.
