Thank you Lord - The SEC didn't WIN the BCS - AND FUENTE
First time in 7 yrs

Go Noles

Best thing to take from this season as a Tiger football fan

Only lost by 7 to a BCS bowl game winner (should have won)

Only lost by 7 on the road to UL whose coach is taken by the Texas Longhorns

Our future in football is looking good under Fuente

Those would be the most positive things to take from the season, yes.

The $EC didn't win but FSU is right in the heart of $EC country.

We must have more moral victories than any team in college football.

this "we played a good team close" act gets old

besides, weve got a top 25 basketball program to talk about now

Progess is progress no matter how you slice it. Basketball has achieved this the last 4 years, and football the last 2 years. You are the one always putting "Tigah High" in its place. That attitude and the above post directly contradict each other.

We do have a top 25 basketball program right now, based on merit. You have been battered for so long as a Tiger fan, that you have a complex and can't accept this and are waiting for the next bad thing to happen.

Maybe you should talk to someone about it. Feel free to print out this post and give it to them before your first session, so they can understand where you're coming from. If you're too scared, you will always have a "safe place" to escape to at womens' socccer games.

How did this morph from a generic anti-SEC essentially pro Memphis post into more cat fighting and Memphis mocking?

In terms of the SEC...as a conference they are still miles ahead.

Final rankings:
2- Auburn
4- SCarolina
5- Mizzou
7- Alabama
14- LSU

As has been the case for a long time now....there are other elite level teams year after year, but SEC schools usually make up about 5-6 of the top 15- or better. 4 of the top 7 teams from the SEC- even if the top team this year was FSU- which was outgained by Auburn but was good enough to take advantage of huge Auburn 4th quarter mistakes.
