Will any of our players transfer??
If we do lose coach Cal, which I am praying we don't.
Do you think any of our players will transfer.
I know any of the Memphis area players would not, but maybe some of the freshman like CDR and Anderson, who seem so attached to Coach Cal, might be willing to sit out a year.

depends on two things:
1. how fast we replace him
2. the sales job the new coach does on these kids.
most of them would be upset at first, but you never know. the one knock against Cal is that he screams bloody murder at those kids, and maybe, just maybe somone with a different approach comes in and gets more out of them.

I'd worry about a guy like CDR leaving with the thinking (possibly correctly) that he could be a star somewhere else vs a solid role player here. Plus, he didn't have the bonding experience at Laurinburg that the other four frosh did. That said I don't think any of these guys are willing to sit out a year. Don't release them and they won't go.
