My fav is when the games are packed and the cheerleaders lead the old "GO" on one side then the other side yells "TIGERS" that gives me chills. I can remember two times when it was extremely loud and one of those was the UL game last year. And someone metioned a few days ago "Who's your Daddy, Who's your Daddy" that is awesome!

fsquid- I didnt mean to say I wore a UT hate to the Memphis games. I guess i stated that wrong. Ive never worn a UT hate to a memphis game besides UT/memphis. Ive seen people do that tho, quite a few.
I meant to say, I get told by people at bars etc.. Kinda put 2 statements into one.
But it does happen at all games. ie, Memphis playing louisville, i was walking under the stands and some louisville students walking by get into a cussing match with memphis students.. etc..

i haven't been to knoxville since 1984...can you assure me that our tires won't be slashed and my buddy's spare tire cover wont be ripped off this time?

Ive been to many UT games and most of the time the fans of opposite teams tell me how nice everyone was and what a great atmosphere it was.
But then again, youve been to knoxville 3 times and know so much about it. UT has alot of class, thats one reason you hate them so much. Get over it.

actually, Volunteer, I was TWELVE years old. Ole Miss had just beaten UT in Knoxville & knocked them out of the Orange Bowl. i guess a snot-nosed twelve year old pointing out no Orange Bowl is intimidating enough to peg with a coke by a classy adult UT fan. i had never seen so many middle fingers in my life. Andy Kelly, YOUR QB got a chair thrown at him by a classy UT fan after the game. the other two times have been the same rudeness when i was actually being VERY kind.

my oldest brother played at Ole Miss in the 70's; therefore, i grew up an Ole Miss fan since i was one when he started there. i went to school at Memphis, have two degrees from U of M & over time realized how obnoxious & snobby Ole Miss people are. when you're a kid you don't know these things.

i didn't throw, nor have i ever, thrown anything on the field. i think that's stupid but, unfortunately, it happens almost everywhere now.

if i would have hung out with drunk UofM college kids, which i quit doing around 16 years ago, wearing a UT hat (which i would never wear), i would expect to get cussed at. in fact, i'd be disappointed if they didn't say something.
