This is an example of the problem.

Coming in with this heavy handed lecturing attitude, instead of being polite and explanatory.

You have sent a lot of people away.

There would be more posters absent this type of high handed monitoring.

Any nobility that administrators and moderators earned by putting in hard work to provide a website is being lost when there is overkill due to a few words in some threads.

What initiated this overkill was less than what occurs all the time here with impunity.

We are all (with some exceptions) adults. And even if some spew some salt every now and then they do not deserve this treatment as though they have done something this wrong. The spice makes the board better.

Censor the physical threats and the George Carlin words. Move the worthless threads to the smackboards. But please avoid this if you do not like it get the hell out and obey or else style. It rubs wrong. And diminishes the board.
